Multi-column Text Boxes in Illustrator

Illustrator, just like InDesign or QuarkXPress, can make a multi-column text box.

To do that, use the Type tool to create a text box, then choose Type> Area Type Options.

There you can enter the number of columns you want. You can even thread a story from text box to text box.

Special thanks to Design Tools Monthly for the content!
